Anna Funder's All That I Am has become the most awarded Australian novel of the year. In this evening of intimacies and revelations, Anna tells facilitator Anne Summers about her friendship with Ruth Blatt, 60 years Anna’s senior, whose story of courage is at the core of All That I Am. She talks about the research, the complex, multi-country editing and fact-checking process; we even learn how mojitos made it into a scene set in 1933 Berlin. All That I Am, winner of the Miles Franklin Award, is Anna Funder's debut novel. Her previous book was the multi-award winning non-fiction title Stasiland. The event is hosted by Chip Rolley and presented by Sydney Writers Festival, July 2012
