Senior Software Developer
Angus McIntyre is a senior software developer in the Services team at Blip, working on tools for statistics processing, reporting and content management.
Angus began his career working as a knowledge-based systems developer in Italy and Belgium, developing tools for authoring, intelligent tutoring and knowledge modeling for expert systems. He also spent five years as an associate researcher at the prestigious Sony Computer Science Laboratory in Paris, working on evolutionary communication systems and distributed software agent architectures.
Before joining Blip, Angus was a senior web application developer at Video Monitoring Services in New York, where he worked on content management, search and e-commerce applications.
Angus holds an MA in Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence, and an MSc in Intelligent Knowledge-Based Systems from the University of Edinburgh.
When he's not working for Blip, Angus can be found obsessively photographing things, working on one of his many websites or visiting unlikely and exotic corners of the world.
